Aris Quartet with EliSabeth Brauss
Friday 20 September - Stratford Play house
Ticket Price: £20.00 (students £10)
Bringing our theme of trios and quartets + 1 to a stirring conclusion, these BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists perform Mendelssohn’s homage to Beethoven, his second quartet, and Shostakovich’s intensely moving 8th, written almost as an epitaph to himself. They are joined by New Generation Artist pianist Elisabeth Brauss to perform Brahms’ great piano quintet.
Piano Quintet in F minor Op.34
